Your privacy rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, and similar state privacy laws where they apply, you may have the right to opt out of the “sale” of personal information and the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, subject to statutory exceptions.

What this means

This page explains how those concepts apply in our context and how you can submit an opt-out request.

Definition of “sale”

Under the CCPA, “sale” is defined broadly and can include disclosing personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. Examples that may qualify in some business models include:

• Sharing data with advertising partners in ways that constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under the statute
• Providing information to data brokers
• Certain third-party analytics arrangements, depending on configuration and law

What we do not sell

Wandlit does not sell your personal information in the ordinary sense of selling customer lists. In particular, we do not:

• Sell customer lists to third parties for their independent marketing
• Share your contact information so unrelated companies can market their own products to you
• Provide your full payment card details to any party except secure payment processors to complete your transaction

How to opt out

To exercise a right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (where applicable), you can submit a request:

• Subject line: “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” (or “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” if your request relates to that right where available)
• Your name
• The email address associated with your Wandlit account or orders (if any)
• A brief description of your request (for example: opt out of sale/sharing, or both)

What happens next

After we receive a verifiable consumer request where verification is required:

• We will process eligible requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (for many California requests, within 15 business days for opt-out of sale/sharing where that timeline applies, and up to 45 calendar days for other requests unless an extension is permitted and communicated)
• You will receive confirmation when we have completed the request, or we will explain any legally permitted reason we cannot fulfill it
• We will apply your preference going forward, subject to technical limits and any re-collection if you later provide new consent or engage in new interactions that involve new data

• Know what personal information we collect and how we use it
• Delete personal information we hold about you, where applicable
• Access specific pieces of personal information in a portable format, where required
• Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights
